I remember walking into Profutsal for the first time on a Saturday morning back in 2015. Yes, I had played futsal or indoor soccer as we called it for many years. But this, this was different.

Dedicated cushioned futsal court flooring, 3mx2m goals instead of the popup goals I was accustomed to whilst coaching juniors for outdoor football, elite players, goalkeepers, and passion in spades everywhere!

It has been a fun and eventful journey so far, including player development & coach education. Many friendships made, and of course lost. Wonderful experiences for the players, parents and coaches including wins, draws and the inevitable losses on a local, national and international level. I say wonderful for even the losses, as I see player development very much a long term plan. Some weeks you seem to be taking two steps forward, and some weeks things seem to take a step back. As long as you proceed on the journey believing in your Vision & Philosophy and are moving forward at a level appropriate for the players in your care, then, that is WONDERFUL.

Fast forward many years, and here we are at the Fremantle Wolves Futsal Club. A Vision and Philosophy developed and shaped to what it is today.

I hope you don’t think I have glazed over everything that has happened since 2015 to 2020 in a few paragraphs. A lot has happened but please keep in mind this is the first blog!

I hope you enjoy perusing through our Fremantle Wolves FC Website. We will do our utmost to keep everyone informed of what is happening at the club. And of course, keep an eye on the blog as I will be providing my own ideas on coaching methodology, player development, club direction, and of course I will be sure to elaborate on our journey to becoming the Wolfpack!
