Player Expectations

  1. Players will inform the coach and/or team manager if unavailable for any training sessions and/or games as early as possible. This will allow training sessions to be planned accordingly and game day squads to be organised in an orderly fashion
  2. Players will arrive to training on time – if running late player must notify the coach/team manager so training can be altered accordingly
  3. Players must arrive on game day at the time specified by the coach. These times may vary depending on the level of competition, game day specific needs, or requirement of the coach in order to prepare the squad for the upcoming competitive game
  4. Players must be prepared to commence training at the correct time, including appropriate training kit (if required), and necessary equipment including shin pads and futsal shoes
  5. Players must report any injuries or special requirements to the Coach and/or Team Manager to ensure they can be appropriately attended and catered for
  6. Players must respect all club and competitive equipment at all times
  1. Encourage players to always participate according to the rules
  2. Always remain positive and show encouragement to all participants, officials and spectators
  3. Remember that children learn best by example
  4. Support all efforts to remove racial and religious vilification, verbal and physical abuse from sporting activities
  5. Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every young person regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion
  6. Respect the match official’s decisions and teach players to do likewise
  7. Show respect and appreciation to club officials, coaches and opposition players

Fremantle Wolves FC  players will be taught to demonstrate good sportsmanship and the importance of team play. The success of Fremantle Wolves FC as a club is measured by its excellence on and off the court. We expect all players to respect and follow these expectations when you are a part of and representing Fremantle Wolves FC:

  1. Players will abide by the policies and expectations of Fremantle Wolves FC
  2. Players will respect and follow the rules and regulations of the competition in which they compete when representing Fremantle Wolves FC
  3. Play futsal to enjoy yourself, and accept that striving to win is more important than winning itself. Victory and defeat are inevitable, and both should be accepted equally
  4. Respect the wishes and directions of your coach
  5. Players will always show respect to my team mates, opposition, spectators and match officials
  6. Respect the referees decisions at all times
  7. Players will always train and play with full intensity and concentration

Parent/Supporter Code of Behaviour Expectations

We expect all players and their parents to respect and follow these expectations when you are a part of and representing Fremantle Wolves FC:

  1. Always show respect to all players, officials and other spectators
  2. Remember that children play sport for their enjoyment, not yours
  3. Accept that striving to win is more important than winning itself. Victory and defeat are inevitable, and both should be accepted equally
  4. Focus on the players/teams effort and performance rather than the result of the activity
